Billet alloy thermostat housing and Genuine OE seal for the XU10J4RS 2.0 16v petrol engine when installed into a Peugeot 205.
The front thermostat hose is a problem when replacing the standard engine in a 205 with a 2.0 16v XU10J4RS engine from a Peugeot 306 GTI-6. As the XU10J4RS engine has a non standard hose fitment making that particular part of the conversion not only difficult but unprofessional if not done by a specialist.
This lightweight adapter is designed to be a direct fitment to the side of the XU10J4RS thermostat housing. The original metal 8v takeoff cap can then be reused.
Our adapter has been precision machined from H15TF aluminium alloy and then hard anodised for protection and longevity. The centre hole is tapered to ensure an efficient coolant flow. A genuine Peugeot O ring is also supplied to ensure the correct fitment and sealing of the 8v takeoff cap.
