Replacement Bosch 044 Inline Fuel Pump
To put it simply, the Bosch 044 is one of the most popular Motorsport fuel pumps out there on the market. It's used widely in many different types of motorsport; World Rally Cars, Touring Cars, you name it. The build quality of any Bosch product is particularly good and the well known '044' fuel pump is no exception as it is capable of 730HP at the flywheel. If you want even more power, fitting two of these in-line will support turbocharged applications up to around 1200hp!
Bosch '044' fuel pumps mount inline (outside of your fuel tank), most commonly rear center under your car and they're capable of providing 300 LPH free flow and 200 LPH at 5 bar (or 72.5 psi) for up to 685 BHP.
This is an inline fuel pump, however it can be installed in the fuel tank with some modifications by a trained professional. As performance levels increase via greater airflow efficiency or higher boost levels, fuel delivery is crucial in maintaining proper air/fuel ratios and developing the true maximum horsepower.
The Bosch in-line fuel pump upgrade can replace the factory pump to maximize flow for high boost applications where the factory injector pulse duration is substantially increased, or where additional or larger injectors are utilized.
