Carbon fibre airbox initially designed by Jenvey Dynamics in conjunction with Longman Race Engines for the Peugeot 206
Now being made for us and comes ready to fit including all mounting bolts and aerospace specification alloy rivnuts. Made in 2 parts and comes without the filter hole drilled so the customer can modify for their individual installation.
The backplate bolts onto the throttle bodies or carbs (Standard DCOE bolt pattern) between the trumpets and mounting face. These airboxes were specifically designed for the 206 S2000 using injectors in the inlet manifold but can be modified to fit the 106 and Saxo using the 1.6 16 valve engine using Jenvey throttle bodies. Manufactured from 2x2 Pre-preg 245 gram carbon fibre and autoclaved (pressure oven with vacuum facility) at 70 degrees for 8 hrs and baked at 130 degrees C (post cure) for 6 hrs.
The finished material is extremely strong, resistant to chemicals and is typically 0.6mm - 0.9mm thick.
Pre-preg material is typically used in high end motorsport & marine applications ie. F1, WRC, Offshore F1 Powerboats, etc.
