Spoox Peugeot 106 GTI Billet Alloy Bottom Engine Pulley
Designed specifically for the TU5J4 1.6 16v engine. This is a 5 rib pulley.
Unlike our competitors, this Spoox billet pulley is statically and dynamically balanced and will therefore increase the engines responsiveness to throttle inputs and will allow the engine to rev more freely, our lightweight pulley reduces the engine’s parasitic losses – namely, the amount of power that is absorbed accelerating the internal mass of the motor.
The Spoox bottom pulley has been precision CNC machined from one piece HE30 aluminium billet, they are then hard anodised to prevent corrosion & premature wear. Our pulley is also supplied with 3 x stainless steel fixing bolts and washers.
The Spoox alloy bottom pulleys are designed as direct replacements for the Peugeot cast iron versions, they are the lightest and strongest pulleys on the market, weighing in much less than half the weight of a standard pulley - just 189 grams !!!!
This underdrive pulley gears down the alternator and so is suitable for very high revving engines.
