The main material used in our pistons is RR58 (2618A). Two other alloys are used, one is a high silicon alloy and the other is a metal matrix composite alloy. The specification of these alloys must remain confidential at the moment.
Each piston is provided with matched piston rings and gudgeon pin and the price reflects a single piston.
These pistons are custom designed in house for compatability with our turbo kit. This is not an off the shelf component, it has been designed around out high lift turbo profile cams and has been developed using our Time Attack Peugeot 205 GTI (Car 13) as a test platform to ensure we produce what is now the best performing and most reliable low compression piston available for the TU5J4 engine.
